Did you know that the food we eat has the potential to affect our physical AND mental well being?
Yes, that is correct! Some foods have an influence on our mood and mental health!
Find out how to boost your mood with food now!

As nursing students we know that the three MAIN risk factors of any disease is smoking, physical activity and DIET!!!
We have watched many documentaries and the number ONE thing each one of them have said is that the main contributor to a decline in health is THE FOOD THAT WE EAT
So what is right and what is wrong?
Straight to the Point

From my experience:
I tried the Ketogenic diet, which is a low carb, high (HEALTHY) fat diet. Instead of getting my sources of energy from carbohydrates and sugars (glucose), I got my energy from fat (ketone bodies).
What I did:
Ate organic veggies
Eliminated all processed foods
Eliminated all sugars (occasionally ate fruit)
Eliminated grains and legumes
Avoided dairy unless it was full fat and organic
Used healthy oils to cook(coconut, olive, avocado, grass-fed butter)
Ate grass-fed beef and pork & pastured chicken
Fasted Intermittently
Drank at least 1/2 - 1 gallon of water a day

Results:
Lost 23 lbs in 2 months
More endurance when working out
Clearer thinking & memory
Improved sleep
Improved moods
Healthier skin

What works for one person may not work for the other!
